Tax Director

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished Tax Director to join the Singapore leadership team of a globally recognised professional services firm. This senior position will shape the growth agenda of the tax practice, focusing on high‑value financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic growth plan for the Singapore tax practice.
• Build and manage a portfolio of financial services clients across banking, insurance, payments, asset & wealth management, and family offices.
• Provide strategic advice on complex Singapore and cross‑border tax matters, including corporate tax, GST, personal tax, fund structuring and tax incentives.
• Lead high‑value advisory and compliance engagements and drive revenue through market origination and business development.
• Develop thought leadership, lead proposal strategy and major pitch opportunities.
• Mentor and grow high‑performing teams while collaborating with regional and global leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Professional qualification (SCTP, ATA, CA, CPA or equivalent).
• 12+ years of financial services tax experience, preferably in a leading professional services or consulting firm.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore tax policy, regulatory frameworks and incentive regimes.
• Strong network and credibility within Singapore’s financial services ecosystem.
• Proven track record in business development and building high‑performing teams.
