Tax Manager (Singapore)

About the role

Micron is seeking a Singapore Tax Manager to join its Global Tax team. The role is responsible for overseeing all corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities for Micron’s Singapore entities, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of tax obligations in a fast‑moving, multi‑jurisdictional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Singapore corporate income tax calculations, estimates of chargeable income (ECI) and annual tax returns.
• Manage quarterly and annual tax provision activities, including current and deferred tax calculations.
• Ensure timely filing of all Singapore tax obligations in line with the Income Tax Act and IRAS requirements.
• Coordinate responses to IRAS tax audits and queries, providing supporting documentation and technical positions.
• Oversee compliance for overseas presence on a quarterly and annual schedule.
• Support rollout and alignment with BEPS Pillar Two and Qualified Domestic Minimum Top‑up Tax (QDMTT) frameworks.
• Prepare and review local transfer pricing documentation in accordance with IRAS and OECD guidelines.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess impact on Singapore entities.
• Collaborate on GloBE Information Return (GIR) filings and data collection.
• Manage compliance and reporting for Singapore tax incentives such as Pioneer and Development & Expansion Incentives.
• Define tax reporting requirements for S/4 HANA implementation and provide ad‑hoc tax advisory support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional qualification preferred (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 6–8 years of corporate tax experience, ideally with Big 4 or professional services background.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA for tax reporting.
