Tax Regulatory Services Specialist – Manager Level

About the role

The Tax Regulatory Services Specialist will join the Tax Regulatory Services Team to ensure the bank complies with US FATCA, Qualified Intermediary (QI), Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and other regulatory obligations. You will manage end‑to‑end processes, work with cross‑functional stakeholders and support timely regulatory submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute CRS/FATCA Change in Circumstances, Relationship Manager Inquiry Exercise, Annual Internal Classification and Mass Mailing processes.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations and technology teams to maintain business‑as‑usual processes.
• Plan and run annual tax reporting cycles, escalating and resolving exceptions.
• Perform data‑quality checks and monitor exceptions prior to year‑end reporting.
• Support CTRR reporting requirements and assess regulatory or technology changes.
• Participate in projects, provide requirements, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing.
• Identify process improvements, maintain operational procedures and ensure control standards.
• Prepare regular management information updates and handle ad‑hoc queries.

Required profile

• University degree in finance or accounting (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to meet tight regulatory deadlines.

Required skills

• FATCA, Qualified Intermediary (QI) and CRS process knowledge.
• Data quality assessment and control.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing.
