Team Lead - Manufacturing (Process Control & Programming)

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Team Lead to oversee a precision machining group within a global oil and gas services manufacturer. The role involves solving production challenges, creating efficient manufacturing routings, and ensuring seamless execution of machining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and allocate daily tasks to a team of machinists to address production and engineering issues.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings using ERP systems to optimise workflow.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide accurate production.
• Communicate cross‑functionally to align on problem resolution and process improvements.
• Set up and operate machining equipment when required to maintain continuity.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Precision Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in machining or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of precision and multi‑axis machining techniques.
• Ability to read and apply engineering drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks
• MasterCAM (or similar CAD/CAM software)
• ERP systems for production planning and routing
