Team Leader – Buffet Service (The Line)

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Team Leader for “The Line” buffet at Shangri‑La Singapore. The role oversees front‑of‑house operations across breakfast, lunch and dinner, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily front‑of‑house activities during all service periods.
- Lead and guide the service team to deliver efficient buffet service.
- Greet guests, manage seating, and address special requests or feedback.
- Maintain clean, well‑stocked buffet stations and dining areas.
- Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding to ensure timely food replenishment and hygiene.
- Train and support new or junior staff on service standards.
- Assist in scheduling, attendance tracking and daily briefings.
- Monitor guest flow and manage queues during peak periods.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, preferably in buffet or high‑volume restaurant operations.
