About the role
We are seeking a Technical Consultant to design, configure, customize and support Moody’s RiskAuthority (RAy) 7.2.1 platform. The role involves implementing regulatory reporting, risk analytics, and ensuring optimal performance of the solution within a banking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure and customize Moody’s RAy 7.2.1 solutions, including parameterisation, workflow and reporting setup.
- Perform system administration, analyse and troubleshoot intermediate and final result tables.
- Support version upgrades, migrations, patch deployments and performance tuning of processing jobs.
- Develop and optimise Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions and database scripts.
- Build and maintain ETL processes for risk data ingestion, transformation and validation.
- Implement batch processing and scheduling using Control‑M or equivalent tools.
- Integrate RAy with upstream and downstream banking systems.
- Implement regulatory reporting requirements such as Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, CECL, liquidity and credit risk reporting.
- Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting and Technology teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Support SIT, UAT, production deployment and post‑production stabilisation, and prepare technical documentation.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience with Moody’s RiskAuthority (RAy) 7.2.1.
- Proficiency with Oracle Database 12c/19c and advanced SQL/PLSQL development.
- Solid understanding of risk data modelling, ETL concepts and data integration.
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and enterprise scheduling tools (Control‑M).
- Demonstrated ability in performance tuning and troubleshooting of large‑scale data processing jobs.
- Functional knowledge of credit risk, regulatory reporting, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9 and liquidity risk.
