Technical Executive

About the role

The Technical Executive will oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repair of building services and mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections to verify compliance with safety, client, and regulatory standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance performed by contractors and service providers.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to contractual standards.
• Respond to technical faults, complaints, and emergency breakdowns with timely rectification.
• Review maintenance reports, service records, and inspection findings, recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate minor improvement, replacement, and asset enhancement projects.
• Prepare technical specifications, obtain quotations, evaluate proposals, and support procurement.
• Track maintenance expenditure and ensure work stays within approved budgets.
• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, Fire Safety Act, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders on technical matters.
• Support audits, statutory inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or property management.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems, preventive maintenance practices, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience managing maintenance contractors and service providers.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulations, including the WSH Act and Fire Safety Act.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
