Technical Lead – AV Conference Room Deployments

About the role

Zones is seeking a Technical Lead to serve as the subject‑matter expert for audio‑visual (AV) conference‑room deployments across Singapore. You will guide project teams through design, installation and handover, ensuring every solution meets Microsoft AV standards and delivers high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Technical SME for AV deployments, educating teams on Microsoft standards, deviation processes and technical risk.
• Validate conference‑room designs and Bill of Materials (BOM) based on site surveys, ensuring technical accuracy and procurement readiness.
• Manage and quality‑assure design development drawings and construction documentation.
• Provide technical consultation during installation, respond to RFIs and resolve escalations with vendors and engineering teams.
• Participate in retrospectives and lessons‑learned sessions to drive continual improvement.
• Support the AV Project Manager on all technical elements of the deployment lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in AV systems engineering or design.
• Strong understanding of AV hardware, room standards and deployment protocols.
• Experience with design development, technical drawing review and functional specification creation.
• Proven ability to resolve technical escalations and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
