Technical Manager, Veterinary Public Health and Ruminants

About the role

The Technical Manager for Veterinary Public Health (VPH) and Ruminants leads the regional implementation of the VPH and Ruminant species strategy across ASEAN, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Business Segment Head, the role acts as the scientific authority, providing technical leadership, guidance and support to internal teams, key customers and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the regional VPH and Ruminants strategy in close collaboration with the Business Segment Head.
• Provide technical expertise to commercial colleagues, key accounts and country teams, including resolution of escalated technical issues.
• Contribute scientific data and technical input to product launches and customer‑facing materials.
• Design, coordinate and oversee field, marketing and post‑marketing studies, translating results into publications and market insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, represent the organization at scientific meetings and support the regional KOL engagement strategy.
• Serve as liaison with corporate business units, regulatory authorities and pharmacovigilance teams.
• Monitor competitor activities, scientific trends and regulatory developments to inform technical positioning.

Required profile

• Degree in Veterinary Science (Veterinarian) with experience in the animal health industry.
• Minimum 4‑5 years experience as a Technical Veterinarian working with livestock.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience in testing, analysis and interpretation of results (asset).
• Strong business mindset and ability to manage large volumes of scientific information.
• Experience collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders and thought‑leaders in the field.
