Technical Ops Support Specialist (macOS, iOS)

About the role

The Maps Global Collections team is looking for a Technical Operations Support Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot our Maps data collection systems. This role focuses on macOS and iOS environments and requires strong technical acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and organise investigations, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage testing activities effectively.
• Provide second‑level support for escalated technical issues, resolving them promptly to minimise operational disruptions.
• Triage field issues, prioritising based on urgency and impact.
• Gather and analyse metrics to identify opportunities for improving resource allocation and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system issues across all operational platforms to ensure smooth functionality.

Required profile

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience in both hardware and software.
• Advanced knowledge of macOS and iOS troubleshooting, including hardware/software isolation techniques.
• Proficiency in network configuration and VPN troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work across teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
