Technical Project Manager – AMR/AGV/Robotics (Southeast Asia)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead Southeast Asia projects focused on autonomous mobile robots (AMR), automated guided vehicles (AGV) and robotics solutions. The role involves pre‑sales support, contract review, risk assessment and end‑to‑end project delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales technical support, review contracts and documentation, and conduct project risk assessments.
• Develop detailed project plans, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, confirm milestones and ensure smooth execution.
• Break down deliverables into actionable tasks, manage project teams and suppliers, and organise technical discussions as needed.
• Design and implement quality control plans to meet customer and quality standards.
• Oversee on‑site execution, including construction progress, safety management, subcontractor coordination and alignment of upstream/downstream activities.
• Act as the primary customer contact, drive key decisions, resolve issues professionally and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage overall project costs, budgets and associated risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Logistics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including managing subcontracted projects and single‑supplier engagements.
• Strong understanding of the logistics industry, major logistics equipment, equipment suppliers and system integrators.
• Fluent English as the primary working language.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and logical reasoning abilities.
