Technical Services Technician – Manufacturing

About the role
Menicon’s Singapore manufacturing facility is seeking a Technical Services Technician to support the production of daily disposable contact lenses. The role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring product quality through hands‑on technical work in a controlled environment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment to achieve scheduled production output.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Carry out daily and monthly preventive maintenance to keep machinery reliable and efficient.
- Participate actively in workplace safety initiatives and quality‑improvement projects.
Required profile
- National ITE Certificate (NITEC) in any engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts, overtime and lift 10‑15 kg.
- Comfortable working in a controlled manufacturing environment.
