Technician I – Production Cleaning & Packaging

About the role

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Technician I to support production operations in a cleanroom environment. The role focuses on precise cleaning, packaging, and maintenance of semiconductor parts while ensuring strict quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic cleaning, wiping, and polishing of parts using solvents such as IPA and abrasive pads.
• Prepare sample kits, mask parts for bead‑blasting, and handle hazardous chemicals safely.
• Package and box parts for shipment, maintain cleanroom housekeeping, and follow 6S practices.
• Conduct in‑process inspections and record data in spreadsheets.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks, lift up to 20 kg, and work 12‑hour rotating shifts.

Required profile

• High School diploma and Institute of Technical Education (ITE) qualification.
• Cleanroom experience and ability to handle chemicals safely.
• Physical stamina for long standing periods and repetitive tasks.
• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and strong attention to detail.
