Technician III – Electronics & Mechanical Assembly

About the role

Ultra Clean Technology (UCT) is seeking a Technician III to support the fast‑growing semiconductor equipment sector in Singapore. You will work in a clean‑room environment assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components that are critical to smartphones, smart cars and AI devices.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts to build machines according to specifications, drawings and work instructions.
• Conduct functional and leak tests, identify errors and perform rework when required.
• Report issues and assist engineers with problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Follow clean‑room protocols and apply the 5S methodology to maintain a disciplined manufacturing environment.
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, aerospace or engineering environments.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work in a clean‑room wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes.
• Readiness to commit to shift patterns and overtime as needed.
• Educational background: NITEC/Higher NITEC/Professional Certificate or equivalent; Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Engineering.
