Technician III – Production Technical Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Technician III to support complex technical tasks in production operations. You will be responsible for equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality, identify faulty products, and take corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and align operations with business goals.
• Follow GxP regulations, SOPs, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in maintenance or equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
• Strong team player with ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
