Technician – Mechanical Fitting

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technician to perform mechanical fitting tasks on the shop floor. The role involves working directly with rotating equipment, bearings and other mechanical components, following detailed work instructions and ensuring high product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all assigned fitting work according to work instructions.
• Perform blending and polishing repair operations.
• Dismantle, inspect, refit and re‑assemble rotors, bearings and related mechanical equipment.
• Maintain equipment care, meet production output targets and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Follow all applicable EHS rules, reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
• Support other areas of work as required.

Required profile

• NTC 3 Mechanical/Marine Fitting certification or an equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to learn on the job; candidates without prior experience will be considered.
• Ability to work safely, follow instructions and collaborate with the operations team.
