Technician (Quality Inspector) - Aircraft Components

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is hiring a Technician (Quality Inspector) for its component repair facility at 61 Seletar Aerospace View, Singapore. The role is onsite and involves inspecting aircraft component parts to ensure they meet repair standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts.
• Inspect repairable parts at incoming, in-process and final stages against documents and required repairs.
• Ensure parts are repaired according to prescribed standards and procedures.
• Work to manufacturer specifications, inspection tolerances and regulatory-approved technical data.
• Carry out SAP transactions and update works orders in SAP.
• Attend EHS training and support continuous improvement and CORE activities.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 2 years of experience using inspection equipment and visual inspection aids, or no experience if eager to join the aerospace industry.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Commitment to night shift and overtime when needed.
• Preferred: aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience and familiarity with airworthiness and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Meticulous attention to detail and hands-on approach.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
