Technologist - Incoming Quality Control

About the role

Micron is hiring a Technologist for Incoming Quality Control at its Fab 10N/X site. The role ensures quality consistency for all incoming materials and works closely with the IQC Engineer to improve IQC business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure quality consistency for all incoming materials.
• Improve IQC business processes together with the IQC Engineer.
• Establish and maintain SAP QM, eCOA and IQC SPC for incoming materials.
• Carry out first article inspection for new materials and conduct incoming material inspections.
• Work positively with external and internal groups in a customer-service oriented way.
• Use AI-enabled and AI-assisted methods, such as LLMs, AI agents and generative AI tools, to strengthen inspection strategies, automate quality data analysis, improve anomaly detection and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Proven quality control experience in an engineering environment.
• Able to work a 5-day shift schedule that may include Saturday or Sunday.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Excellent documentation and procedural development skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and a diligent approach to high material quality standards.
• Knowledge of AI applications is a plus.
