Technologist - PEE Fab Support

About the role

Micron is hiring a Technologist for its Fab 10N/X site to support PEE fab equipment. The role covers pumps, chillers and abatement systems, supervising shift technicians and acting as the main contact between fab personnel and the Fab Support group on production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safety priorities and standards, raise safety concerns and supervise equipment performance
• Lead the direct-shift equipment team in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform administrative and supervisory duties for shift techs: attendance, staffing and reviews
• Serve as the main point of contact for production issues and accept responsibility for equipment, process and personnel issues during the shift
• Coordinate shift coverage, contribute to TPM activities and foster problem resolution and feedback among Fab10 employees
• Assist with equipment installs, tests and commissioning
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality and effectiveness, and share AI-enabled improvements with the team

Required profile

• A relevant diploma in any engineering course or equivalent working experience
• Strong mechanical competence, with vacuum system knowledge and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to use schematic diagrams to solve systems to component level
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift

Required skills

• Intermediate PC skills, including familiarity with the MS Office Suite
• Problem-solving, time management and prioritisation
• Follows procedures with minimal supervision and good communication skills
• Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy
