Technologist - QEM PCS

About the role

Micron is hiring a Technologist for its QEM PCS position at Fab 10N/X. The role supports process control and quality monitoring, working closely with engineers on software release testing, data mining and reporting, and integrating AI-assisted tools into daily work.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) process control change requests in a timely manner to detect inline process or equipment abnormalities
• Assist engineers in testing of software releases
• Identify systematic quality issues through first-level data mining and carry out initial data analysis
• Publish clear reports and highlights on key points in the weekly trend and issue tracking
• Support engineers on non-engineering requests such as data compilation and presentation
• Complete learning items within the stipulated time frame and comply with site process control business processes and rules
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work and share AI-enabled improvements with the team

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Engineering-related field of study
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good verbal and written communication skills and customer-focused service attitude
• Willingness to work on shifts as per business needs

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and other IT applications such as SharePoint
• Knowledge of programming languages, scripting or AI tools is an advantage
• Baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy
