Telesales Officer (Bank) – 12‑month contract

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Telesales Officer to promote a digital payment solution for a banking client. You will engage existing and prospective customers through outbound calls, guide them through onboarding and help drive adoption of merchant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telesales to promote the digital payment solution.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate value propositions.
• Assist customers with both onsite and remote onboarding setups.
• Provide clear information on product features, pricing and processes.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable merchant solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships to encourage retention.
• Follow up post‑onboarding to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Record interactions, sales activities and onboarding progress in CRM systems.
• Collaborate with operations and product teams to address feedback.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and KPIs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• Prior experience in telesales, customer service or merchant solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales‑driven, customer‑centric mindset.
• Ability to explain technical or financial solutions simply.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
