Test Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring a Test Engineer at its Fab 10N/X site. The role focuses on improving product quality and yield in the test operation, driving continuous improvement and supporting high-volume production.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize processes, tools and systems to deliver high product quality and efficient test operations.
• Improve quality and yield in the test process and resolve process and product deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement through process characterization, optimization, problem resolution and control implementation.
• Handle test process changes, including new process and equipment qualification and new product integration, to support high volume production.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, cycle time, delivery and cost, and lead or take part in projects to turn them into results.
• Design and develop business intelligence reports and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work and share AI-enabled improvements within your scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or another electronics-related field.
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator who can collaborate across all levels, with a growth mindset.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus; demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly for research, analysis, content creation, problem solving and operational tasks.
• Compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements when using AI tools.
