Test Solutions Engineer - NAND Flash

About the role

Micron is looking for a Test Solutions Engineer who will be the key project owner for its NAND Flash memory test programs. The role ensures project readiness and assesses program quality through a rigorous release process. It is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain wafer and package functional test strategies and programs for semiconductor NAND Flash products.
• Work with test solutions and production engineering groups to ensure test programs, infrastructure and systems are ready for new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.
• Improve device yield, reliability and quality through test condition optimization, redundancy analysis, data analysis and test equipment hardware optimization.
• Propose cost-effective, innovative solutions for production test flow optimization and test time reduction.
• Support process and production teams with engineering expertise and introduce test time reduction solutions and released test programs to production on time.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality and effectiveness, and share AI-enabled improvements with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming skills; C++ and Python knowledge.
• Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and knowledge of the Unix/Linux environment are advantages.
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills, and effective collaboration across all levels.
• Growth mindset, leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable; internship or semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
