Transaction Banking Product (Documentary Trade and ESG) Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an intern for its Transaction Banking Office for Asia, Product Department, Trade and Supply Chain Finance Product Team. The internship covers documentary trade and ESG products and runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027. It is based in Singapore and is open to Singaporean and PR students only.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Trade Product Department with the roll-out of the bank's digital platform and take part in commercialisation activities.
• Support the department with documentary trade and ESG product development and process improvements across APAC.
• Act as a business analyst for data analysis within the Trade Product Department, working closely with subject matter experts.
• Support the automation of regional trade MIS data.

Required profile

• Strong interest in trade product development and management.
• Interest in analysing performance information of products and regions.
• Keen eye for detail and strong written and spoken English.
• Able to multi-task and deliver work under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Good initiative, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
