Transformation & Change Management Consultant (Part‑Time Contract)

About the role

Howden Asia is establishing a new regional COO organisation and needs an experienced Transformation & Change Management Consultant to provide strategic momentum during a critical build phase. This part‑time, fixed‑term engagement (3‑6 months) will work directly with the Regional COO to accelerate multiple strategic workstreams across the Asia region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Regional COO in designing and refining the Target Operating Model for technology and operations, aligning with Howden Group’s global strategy.
• Develop and maintain business process frameworks, operating model documentation, and change artefacts.
• Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops to define future‑state operating models and identify transformation priorities.
• Establish programme governance structures, reporting cadences and PMO standards for concurrent strategic initiatives.
• Act as the interface between the Regional COO office and Group centre capabilities in London (PMO, Enterprise Architecture, Data Office).
• Track milestones, risks and dependencies; manage stakeholder reporting and escalation.
• Design and execute a regional Change Management & Communications plan.
• Promote AI awareness and adoption across Howden Asia in collaboration with the London centre.

Required profile

• Senior professional with deep expertise in insurance or financial services transformation.
• Proven experience in Target Operating Model design, programme governance and change management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with senior leaders.
• Passion for responsible AI adoption in enterprise settings.
