Vice President – Commercial & Business (Global)

About the role

This senior executive position leads a global business portfolio for a leading provider of engineered solutions to the shipping industry. Based in Singapore, the VP will own full P&L responsibility and shape long‑term strategy across international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall commercial performance and profitability of the global portfolio.
• Develop and execute long‑term business strategies that deliver sustainable growth.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with major shipping companies, vessel operators, OEMs, shipbuilders and strategic partners.
• Lead high‑value negotiations and strategic customer engagements worldwide.
• Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain and product management to align commercial priorities with market needs.
• Guide product and solution road‑maps, ensuring competitiveness throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify adjacent growth opportunities through new markets, services, digital capabilities and innovation.
• Foster collaboration across geographically dispersed teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven global business leader with experience in engineered products or industrial technology serving international customers.
• Executive‑level credibility, technical curiosity and strong executive presence.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and success managing strategic international customer relationships.
• Experience working in matrix organizations across multiple geographies, preferably with exposure to European markets.
• Understanding of long sales cycles and complex commercial negotiations.
