Vice President, Hotel Projects

About the role

The Vice President, Hotel Projects leads the planning, execution, and delivery of hotel opening and development initiatives across the organization. This senior position ensures projects align with business objectives, brand standards, timelines, and budgets while driving operational readiness and post‑opening stabilization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all hotel opening projects and related strategic initiatives.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and operational readiness strategies.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
• Drive end‑to‑end hotel opening processes, coordinating manpower, systems, procurement, training, facilities, and guest experience.
• Support post‑opening reviews and stabilization activities to optimize performance.
• Lead planning for future hotel developments, renovations, and expansions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to the Hotel Projects team.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with policies and brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
• Extensive senior‑level experience leading large‑scale hotel development or opening projects.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets and cost controls.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
