Vice President, Specialised Finance - Capital Markets APAC

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting a Vice President Specialised Finance for its Singapore-based team in the APAC Capital Markets Group. The role delivers tailored financing solutions to borrowers and sponsors in Project Finance, Real Estate, Aviation and Fund Finance, working with regional and global teams, external investors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and deliver capital markets financing solutions, keeping close track of investor requirements and risk appetite, structure and pricing
• Support senior team members in identifying new opportunities, with financial analysis, pricing insights, liquidity assessments and syndication strategies
• Produce market research on pricing trends, participations, deal structures and investor activity for client pitches
• Oversee underwriting applications, deal screening memos and other internal documentation
• Manage stretch hold transactions from origination through pricing, investor appetite assessment, distribution, client interaction, Q&A and settlement
• Drive revenue initiatives such as ratings advisory or project bonds, and work with regional and global distribution teams
• Build relationships with banking institutions and financial sponsors

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years' experience in banking or finance, including at least 4 years in capital markets
• Advanced knowledge of global capital markets products (loans and bonds) and familiarity with institutional investors
• Degree from a leading university; CFA is highly valued
• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven, proactive approach
