Video Editor

About the role

A creative Video Editor is sought to join the post-production team and raise the quality of content across organic, promotional and advertising projects. The editor will edit engaging video content and help with production, in a dynamic start-up environment.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce video for internal channels, social media and client campaigns
• Handle post-production: editing, colour correction, audio mixing, subtitling and basic motion graphics
• Assist with filming, equipment setup and on-set support when needed
• Work with producers and creative teams so videos match briefs, brand guidelines and objectives
• Manage several projects at once and review client and stakeholder feedback promptly
• Liaise with clients and coordinate with freelance editors to meet timelines and quality standards
• Keep up with social media trends and video formats, and take on ad-hoc production tasks

Required profile

• 2-4 years of video editing experience; production experience is a bonus
• Proven track record editing scripted or narrative content (micro-drama experience is a strong plus)
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and handle feedback well
• Attention to detail, good communication and a proactive, collaborative approach
• Active portfolio, website, channel or Google Drive folder with public access

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro (proficiency required)
• After Effects and DaVinci Resolve are an advantage
