VIE Cyber Incident Response – Singapore

About the role

Join a leading European technology group to support a major international banking client in Singapore. You will work within a dedicated cybersecurity team focused on IT Production Security Investigation & Incident Response, helping to strengthen SOC detection capabilities across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design and implement security use cases based on real‑world attack scenarios (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Identify emerging threats and propose detection and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct threat‑hunting activities and enhance 24/7 SOC detection capabilities.
• Respond to security incidents, assess impact, coordinate remediation and ensure closure.
• Identify recurring issues and improve SOC processes and playbooks.
• Collaborate with global, regional and local stakeholders to maintain operational readiness.
• Support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in reporting, audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response.
• Strong expertise in detection engineering or security use‑case development.
• Proven experience in threat hunting, security event analysis and incident management.
• Fluent English; French is a strong advantage.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to work in complex international environments.

Required skills

• MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• SIEM solutions (mastery of ELK – Elastic, Logstash, Kibana).
• Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu).
• Scripting/programming: Python, PowerShell, Bash (SQL a plus).
• Security log analysis and use‑case creation.
