VP, Regional FX Options Structuring - APAC

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is seeking a Vice President Foreign Exchange Options Structuring to lead its APAC FX Options franchise from Singapore, with the ambition of USD 10 million in annualised revenue over five years. The role covers corporate, institutional and financial-institution clients across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India and other developing markets, with flexible working opportunities and access to training.

Key responsibilities

• Originate new business with corporate and institutional clients and develop bespoke FX Options solutions, including vanilla products, TARFs and Lookback Options
• Coach Sales teams across Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India and work with Trading teams on competitive pricing and risk-adjusted returns
• Drive revenue growth by increasing active FX Options clients and repeat business, and track metrics such as client activity, product penetration and revenue contribution
• Influence Product Governance, Compliance, Technology, Risk Management and Legal Operations teams to ensure seamless transaction execution
• Maintain high standards of control, suitability, documentation and booking across multiple jurisdictions
• Build relationships with regional treasury centres, CFOs and treasurers, and coordinate pipeline management and restructuring activity

Required profile

• At least 10 years of overall experience in banking, including at least 5 years of direct client-facing FX experience
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline, plus any regulatory licence required for employment in Singapore
• Proven ability to originate and develop FX Options business and build an options franchise
