VP, Trade & Supply Chain Finance Product Manager - APAC

About the role

MUFG is looking for a Vice President, Product Development to join its Transaction Banking Office for Asia, focusing on Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance. The role sits in the Singapore office and supports the Head of Department in shaping trade and supply chain finance products across APAC. It is a subject-matter-expert position within a senior product team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on product management strategies for trade and supply chain finance tailored to the APAC region.
• Lead assessments of new products, variations and bespoke deals for the Singapore branch, partnering with headquarters and regional teams.
• Develop product structures and schematics for proprietary and third-party trade platforms and technologies.
• Analyse end-to-end transactional workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Ensure product development complies with bank policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Identify emerging trends and drive new product capabilities that generate revenue and strengthen market position.
• Work with technology, operations, compliance, legal and sales teams to deliver product solutions.
• Prepare executive presentations and MIS reports, using advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in transaction banking, focused on trade finance and supply chain finance.
• Proven product development experience in trade finance and supply chain finance.
• Strong analytical, organisational and presentation skills, able to handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for performance reporting and MIS analysis.
• Expertise in creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
• Data analysis and MIS background.
