VP2-PB Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Private Banking

About the role

The VP2-PB COO role supports United Overseas Bank's Private Banking division by providing strong operational risk oversight, investigative insight, and robust governance. You will work closely with business leaders to ensure risk is identified, mitigated, and reported in line with the bank’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the Private Banking business.
• Manage incident reporting, including data‑leakage events, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain and enhance key risk frameworks such as KRCSA, KORI, and Business Continuity Management.
• Drive stakeholder coordination, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide governance oversight and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational risk management within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Key Risk and Control Self‑Assessment (KRCSA) processes.
• Familiarity with Key Operational Risk Indicators (KORI) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks.
