Wafer Fab Specialist (Operator) – 12h Rotating Shift

About the role

Join STMicroelectronics as a Wafer Fab Specialist (Operator) working on a 12‑hour rotating shift in a cleanroom environment. You will contribute to the daily production of semiconductor wafers, supporting the company’s innovative technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Handle wafers and perform machine setups for production runs.
• Manage test wafers and ensure accurate tracking.
• Monitor equipment capacity and targets to meet production goals.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and enforce safety practices.
• Identify work hazards and collaborate with Manufacturing Technicians, AE Manufacturing Ops, and Engineers to develop solutions.
• Follow strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and on a 12‑hour rotating shift.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Team player with clear communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods; no colour blindness.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.
