Warehouse Manager

About the role

Abbott’s Singapore manufacturing plant in Tuas is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead its in‑plant and third‑party warehouse operations. The role is responsible for ensuring product integrity, safety, and efficient material flow across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Warehouse Specialists and front‑line associates, set KPIs and drive results.
• Manage both the internal warehouse and external 3rd‑party warehouse, ensuring clean, pest‑free, and secure storage.
• Oversee people, processes and systems, including resource planning, skill development and safe workplace practices.
• Handle asset life‑cycle management, preventive maintenance and operator care programs.
• Develop and enforce warehouse policies, ensuring compliance with corporate codes, statutory requirements and EHS standards.
• Lead investigations of material control events and product‑damage complaints, implement CAPA and monitor effectiveness.
• Control warehouse budget, monitor capacity utilization and coordinate expansion needs.
• Manage outsourced service providers to meet quality, performance and cost targets.
• Maintain accurate inventory for both warehouses, conduct physical counts, reconcile variances and comply with SOX requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean‑Six Sigma projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Material Management or a relevant diploma.
• Proven experience leading warehouse teams in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, asset management and safety regulations.
