Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager

About the role

WINLY PAINTS PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager to support and oversee daily warehouse activities. The role focuses on efficient inventory management, supervising staff, maintaining workplace safety, and ensuring timely order fulfilment and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Monitor workflow to maximise efficiency and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Conduct regular stock counts, inventory audits and resolve discrepancies using FIFO principles.
• Plan, assign and supervise daily work schedules and shift rosters for warehouse personnel.
• Train, coach and motivate staff while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, work with drivers, suppliers and customers.
• Maintain and service warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Prepare operational and inventory reports and liaise with internal departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management or a related field.
• Physically fit and able to handle paint products and other materials.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong organisational skills.
