WSH Coordinator – MRT Construction Project

About the role

The Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator will support the MRT construction project by ensuring all activities comply with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Act and related environmental regulations. This junior‑level position involves regular site inspections, monitoring safety measures, and coordinating corrective actions across a 6‑day, 12‑hour work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety procedures in line with statutory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct daily site checks, identify hazards, and enforce corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain records of safety incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and authorities to ensure safe execution of tunnelling works.
• Provide safety briefings and training to on‑site personnel.

Required profile

• Possession of a Level “B” WSH Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum two years of experience in tunnelling or related construction projects, preferably on MRT, tunnel or road works.
• Willingness to work a 6‑day, 12‑hour shift pattern.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s LTA regulations for MRT and tunnel projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act compliance.
• Familiarity with safety inspection tools and reporting procedures.
