AI-Native Software Engineer

About the role

As an AI‑Native Engineer at Palo IT you will design, build and deliver production‑grade applications while using generative AI tools as a core part of your daily workflow. You will work with modern full‑stack technologies and cloud platforms to create scalable, secure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack applications using modern frameworks such as ReactJS, NodeJS, Java or Python.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, follow DevOps workflows and ensure code quality through testing, reviews and performance optimisation.
• Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for code scaffolding, generation, optimisation, test‑case and documentation creation.
• Apply prompt‑engineering best practices, validate AI‑generated outputs and handle hallucinations.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and project teams to deliver high‑quality, secure solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on software development experience with full‑stack technologies.
• Proven daily use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and testing practices.
