Air Mobility/Airlift Planner – Journeyman

About the role

CACI is seeking an experienced Air Mobility/Airlift Planner (Journeyman) to support theater air mobility and deployment operations across the Indo‑Pacific. The planner will develop and synchronize strategic and intra‑theater airlift plans that move personnel, equipment, and mission‑critical cargo in contested environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate air mobility and airlift plans for strategic, operational, and tactical logistics missions.
• Coordinate movement of personnel, equipment, cargo, and sustainment resources using military and commercial airlift assets.
• Support Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI) activities through effective planning and execution.
• Collaborate with Air Mobility Command, USTRANSCOM, Service Components, Joint Task Forces, and other government stakeholders to align airlift requirements.
• Create air movement schedules, cargo load plans, passenger manifests, and aircraft utilization recommendations.
• Monitor airlift execution, adjust plans for weather, aircraft availability, and mission priorities.
• Prepare reports, status updates, operational assessments, and executive briefings for senior leadership.
• Analyze transportation capacity and routing options, recommending improvements for mission effectiveness.
• Coordinate contingency airlift support for humanitarian assistance, disaster response, and crisis actions.

Required profile

• Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Full‑time availability with up to 10% local travel.
• Proven experience in air mobility or airlift planning within a military or government context.
• Strong understanding of joint logistics, movement control, and airfield operations.
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports and briefings for senior officials.
