Analytics Consultant – Digital Strategy & Transformation

About the role

The Lead Consultant (Analytics) will join NTUC's Transformation Office to drive digital transformation through data‑driven insights. Reporting to the Deputy Director (Data & Analytics), you will shape the business intelligence and semantic data layers that turn raw data into actionable decisions for NTUC and its affiliated unions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage business stakeholders across NTUC to translate decision‑making needs into metrics, dimensions and data products.
• Explore and evaluate existing datasets for relevance to NTUC’s strategic sense‑making.
• Own the semantic data layer, including governed metric definitions and shared semantic models, enabling natural‑language data queries.
• Own the business intelligence layer, designing enterprise dashboards and self‑service analytics while setting usability standards.
• Oversee administration and budgeting of semantic and BI platforms, managing licences, vendor relationships, capacity planning and governance.
• Support the development and implementation of data‑governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of experience in analytics.
• Proven experience designing semantic data layers and leading enterprise Business Intelligence implementations.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills, able to interview leaders, frame decisions and translate business needs into metric and data requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Ability to set high standards and influence cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
