Assistant Regulatory Manager – Complementary Health Products

About the role

The position supports the Complementary Health Products Branch by ensuring that marketed complementary health and cosmetic products remain safe and compliant. You will conduct post‑market compliance checks, respond to industry and public enquiries, and create digital training resources to aid stakeholder understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Perform post‑market compliance checks and recommend regulatory actions to maintain product safety.
• Manage and track enquiries and feedback from industry stakeholders and the public, using dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.
• Analyse enquiry data to identify trends, service improvement opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
• Develop digital resources such as video guides, e‑learning modules, and visual step‑by‑step guides to support industry compliance.

Required profile

• Knowledge in Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology or related disciplines.
• Strong aptitude for regulatory work, even without prior professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to guidelines, SOPs and ability to learn new regulatory requirements quickly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in public health, product safety or regulatory governance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic data‑tracking tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
