Assistant Vice President, Global Markets Sales

About the role

The Global Markets function at UOB provides timely financial advice, products and solutions to corporate clients. As an Assistant Vice President in Global Markets Sales, you will focus on treasury advisory and sales coverage for Commercial Banking (CMB) corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide treasury advisory services to Commercial Banking (CMB) clients.
• Manage client relationships and acquire new treasury corporate CMB clients.
• Deal in investment solutions for CMB clients.
• Execute trades for FX, interest rate, bonds, commodity and equity‑linked products.
• Oversee the full sales process, including term‑sheet preparation and trade issue follow‑up with mid‑office and back‑office.
• Collaborate with Commercial Banking bankers and UOB branches in Singapore.
• Conduct treasury training classes for relationship managers.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree with at least 5 years’ experience handling corporate clients.
• Experience providing advisory in FX, interest‑rate hedging and investment offerings.
• Proven track record acquiring new treasury corporate clients in partnership with relationship bankers.
• Strong analytical, meticulous and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Completion of CMFAS and FMRP paper requirements preferred.
