BIM Coordinator (MEP)

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator (MEP) to lead the creation, coordination and maintenance of detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. You will work closely with MEP engineers and the broader design team to ensure seamless integration across architectural and structural disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate detailed Revit models for HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, cable trays, conduits, electrical equipment, lighting and fire protection.
• Generate project‑specific outputs such as load schedules, single‑line diagrams, riser diagrams, panel schedules and annotated views.
• Ensure BIM deliverables follow the project BIM Execution Plan, Surbana Jurong standards and ISO 19650.
• Lead clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage.
• Prepare construction drawings, coordination documentation and model data sets via BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Develop and manage Revit families, BIM content libraries, templates and automation tools to improve efficiency.
• Conduct QA/QC checks to verify model accuracy, constructability and compliance at each delivery stage.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of drafting experience in mechanical and/or electrical building services within a consultancy.
• Strong understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes.

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Office.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud platforms.
