Building & Maintenance Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

The Building & Maintenance Executive / Assistant Manager will oversee daily building operations, facilities management and contractor coordination to ensure a safe, efficient and well‑maintained workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of building areas and monitor M&E system performance.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise service contractors (ACMV, electrical, fire protection, lifts, plumbing, cleaning, pest control, landscaping) and verify completed works.
• Handle maintenance requests from internal users and tenants, ensuring timely resolution.
• Act as Fire Safety Manager, ensuring statutory compliance and supporting WSH initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, asset registers and monitor maintenance expenditures.
• Lead office renovation and improvement projects, liaising with consultants and contractors.
• Respond to building emergencies and support after‑hours incidents.

Required profile

• Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification.
• Diploma or degree in Building Services, Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in facilities, building or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, building maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to respond to after‑hours emergencies.
