Business Development Manager – Simulation

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its Simulation portfolio across multiple regions. The role focuses on building a robust pipeline, meeting sales targets, and providing domain expertise in process modelling and optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional sales and pre‑sales teams to acquire new customers and generate new business for the Simulation portfolio.
• Support the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring quota achievement.
• Partner with regional marketing to shape demand‑generation initiatives specific to process simulation.
• Act as the domain expert on customer needs, competition and industry trends, articulating AVEVA’s value proposition.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of business development or account management experience in a technology environment.
• At least 5 years of technical sales or consulting experience, preferably in process modelling, simulation and optimization.
• Strong understanding of operations technology and enterprise software.
• Engineering science degree or equivalent technical background.
