Business & Growth Planning Analyst – Regional Cross Border

About the role

The Business & Growth Planning Analyst will support Shopee Taiwan's Cross Border team by driving financial planning, budgeting and performance analysis across the region. You will work closely with Business Development, Operations and Marketing to shape data‑driven commercial strategies that accelerate growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop monthly budgets, forecasts and business projections to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Analyse P&L and commercial performance, identifying revenue and cost drivers and delivering actionable insights.
• Monitor market trends, customer behaviour and business performance to uncover growth opportunities.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to assess commercial impact and drive strategic initiatives.
• Create dashboards and performance reports that highlight key metrics, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct financial modelling and ad‑hoc analyses to evaluate new business initiatives.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear data storytelling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (master’s degree advantageous).
• Prior internship or full‑time experience in strategy, business/financial planning or analysis, preferably in e‑commerce or consulting.
• Fast learner with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• SQL knowledge (advantageous).
