Civil Construction Manager – Underground MRT Project

About the role

The Civil Construction Manager will lead the delivery of an underground MRT project for the Land Transport Authority. This senior position requires strong project leadership, stakeholder communication, and a deep understanding of civil engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the company's products and services while aligning with customer objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive project management programme.
• Present progress reports and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee day‑to‑day project progress, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) reports and enforce compliance.

Required profile

• MSc or Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a project manager on LTA MRT projects.
• Willingness to work an alternate Saturday schedule (5.5‑day work week).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience using project management software.
