Commercial Controller – Animal Health (ROPU)

About the role

The AH Commercial Controller for the Regional Operating Unit (ROPU) ASKAN supports the Head of AH Commercial Controlling and acts as a finance business partner for the BU management and commercial organization. The role provides financial and strategic guidance, ensures transparency, and drives continuous improvement to maximise return on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide process and target guidance to Operating Units and collect, enhance, and challenge planning data.
• Consolidate documentation for annual discussions and update BU risk and opportunity lists.
• Monitor, track, and challenge ROPU KPI targets, analyse trends and deviations, and review OPU gross‑to‑net reporting.
• Perform market and business case evaluations, identify focus areas, define measures, and assess impact.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses such as revenue‑to‑expense reviews and ensure compliance with corporate reporting requirements.
• Support financial due diligence, coordinate market effectiveness evaluations, and assist with contracting and benchmarking activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• 3–5 years of controlling experience in a multi‑country environment, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG.
• Broad finance knowledge including accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance.
• Strong analytical thinking, team orientation, and ability to work independently.
• Preference for candidates not requiring visa sponsorship.
