Commercial Corporate Counsel (Singapore)

About the role

Join IHG’s regional legal team in Singapore, working closely with commercial, marketing, loyalty, partnerships and technology teams across Asia‑Pacific. The role provides practical, business‑focused legal advice while helping to drive strategic initiatives across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial, marketing, loyalty, partnerships and technology stakeholders to deliver legal guidance that aligns with business objectives.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements in a high‑volume contracting environment across several jurisdictions.
• Support regional and global initiatives by providing local market legal advice, ensuring agreements, campaigns and partnerships are structured compliantly.
• Monitor regulatory developments, identify emerging risks and work with subject‑matter experts to deliver timely solutions.
• Drive improvements in legal operations, contracting processes, governance, compliance and training to enhance efficiency and stakeholder experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in commercial legal work, including contracts, marketing, partnerships or technology matters.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements with a clear, commercially‑focused approach.
• Experience handling legal issues across multiple jurisdictions in a complex regional environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships.
• Strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to balance risk with business objectives.
