Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to partner with our Procurement contracting and cross‑functional legal teams. You will advise on procurement‑related legal matters, negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, and help mitigate legal and business risk in a fast‑moving, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support and lead contract negotiations for procurement matters across the JAPAC and U.S. regions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts for goods and services, including AI‑enabled technology, facilities services, events, marketing, and professional services.
• Collaborate with the Procurement contracting team to assess contractual, legal, and business risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts such as Privacy, Security, Corporate Legal, and local legal teams on cross‑functional issues.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects such as process‑improvement initiatives, playbook creation, and negotiation guideline development to enhance consistency and efficiency.

Required profile

• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Strong commercial judgment with a practical, solutions‑oriented approach.
• Ability to differentiate material legal risks from lower‑risk issues and focus negotiations accordingly.
• Comfortable working across multiple regions and time zones (JAPAC, U.S., EMEA).
• Exceptional communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non‑legal stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of owning matters from initial engagement through execution.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a global legal organization while exercising independent judgment.
